Scott Stout Associate Pastor
There are many people who have powerful testimonies; they give their life to Christ and there is radical change; they move forward without ever looking back. My testimony is not so powerful. My early years as a Christian were filled with failure and compromise. Finally, I came to the place where I would accept nothing less for my life than God's perfect will. In 1989, I joined the custodial staff here at Harvest where I got my first real taste of ministry. In 1991, I graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College with hopes of one day serving in pastoral ministry; of course, God was in no hurry. For The next thirteen years I served on the maintenance crew here at Harvest until I joined the pastoral staff in June of 2004. During those years I was able to serve as an elder, oversee the Drug and Alcohol Ministry, and teach various home studies. I am very thankful for the opportunity to serve in full-time ministry. I simply can't imagine doing anything else!
