Harvest

I was exposed to the church at a very early age. By God's grace, my dad brought me to the church weekly throughout my childhood allowing me to gather a wealth of Biblical knowledge and principles. However, I remained a skeptic of the faith throughout my teen years. After a year and a half at RCC, I began questioning the popular evolutionary beliefs which catapulted me into a spiritual search. I investigated science and religion until I ultimately landed at the foot of the cross.

I made the life altering decision to follow Jesus Christ wholeheartedly at the age of 20. I brought the Lord a worthless and shattered life, and have sat in amazement as He has reconstructed my useless past by making all things new.

Immediately following my conversion, I became committed to regular church attendance. I couldn’t be here too much. I would come to multiple services a week and was eager to grow. After about a year I began serving in the church through follow up counseling and other ministries. Eventually I was invited on staff to serve in the High School Ministry which I now Pastor and oversee.

Being involved in the church led me to another monumental moment in my life. I met my best friend and wife to be through mutual friends in the ministry and we were married in 2009. We had a beautiful outdoor wedding and were blessed to celebrate that wonderful day with so many close friends and loving family members.

As I survey my life I agree with the Psalmist when he declared, "For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere . . . for the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:10–11).
