The Bible firmly says that none of the trials of life can separate us from the love of God (see Romans 8:38–39). Our desire is to provide an environment that encourages that kind of biblical response toward all disabilities. This is accomplished by the following: BIBLE STUDY The challenges we face can sometimes make us feel abandoned by God. Leaving us to wonder where the strength to go on will come from. The Bible reminds us that though we are suffering and experiencing distress outwardly, we can have perfect peace within when we find our rest in Jesus. There is no better source of hope and encouragement than the Bible. FRIENDSHIPS THROUGH FELLOWSHIP People who are dealing with similar circumstances understand what you are going through. Loyal friendships develop when people genuinely care about the challenges you face and want to support you along the way. PRAYER We are not to hold back any burden from the Lord. When we do, we often short-circuit what God is so eager to bring about in our lives. Those who are suffering often comment that they can feel the prayers of others giving them strength and courage to go on. EQUIPPING FOR SERVICE Believers who choose to give themselves fully over to serving God are the ones who are acknowledged by God to be the greatest (see Luke 22:27). If you feel like your circumstances hamper your service to the Lord, we want you to know that God gives gifts, talents, and abilities to every Christian. You have a unique and vital role that is necessary for the well being of Christ's church. We want to help you discover and use the gifts God has for you.
