March Love Projects

Honor Our Military and First Responders

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13 NIV

This month, our Love Projects will be focused on honoring our military and first responders. Here are ways to participate.

Submit Names of Those Who Serve in These Areas

Do you know a neighbor, friend, or family member (believer or unbeliever) who is currently serving in any of the armed forces, or as a police officer, firefighter, or EMT? Submit their name so our church body can pray for them this month. We also would like to know their spouses’ names so we can pray for them as well.

Go to signup.harvest.org to submit names (please submit names as soon as possible).

Pray for Military and First Responders

Sunday, March 12 – All our church services will pray for men and women in our congregation who are military or first responders. We want to pray for them throughout the month.

Bless a Service Person or First Responder with a Gift Card

Purchase a gift card (any $ amount) and write a thank-you note (we will have blank notes available at the Connect Tables or Church Offices, or you can use one of your own) to be distributed to local stations and fire houses. Thank-you cards and gift cards are due by Monday, March 27. These can be turned in at the Connect Table or Church Office.

Appreciation Dinner for Military and First Responders and Spouses

Friday, March 31, military and first responders who have registered are invited to attend an appreciation dinner at City Hall. More details are available at signup.harvest.org.
