Back on Track

As believers we should desire to spend time with the Lord and commit time to studying His Word, listening for what He has to teach us, praying, and fellowshipping with other Christians. It takes discipline, but you will see your relationship with God grow as you cultivate habits to get to know Him better.

Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart” (ESV). Apart from your own Bible readings, getting plugged into a regular Bible-teaching service and a small group can help you connect with others who can hold you accountable to your commitment to the Lord. Seeking the Lord with other people will allow you to dig deeper into God’s Word and challenge yourself to stay consistent.

Have you grown slack in areas of spiritual discipline lately? It’s not too late to get back on track!

“Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God” (1 Chronicles 22:19 NIV).
