IT Service Assistant
The IT Department is currently recruiting for a full time IT Service Assistant for the Help Desk. Knowledge of the different departments and systems used at Harvest is helpful. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and web based applications is desired.
This position is responsible for first level support, troubleshooting, and coordinating resolution to user and vendor problems. This position will also perform routine clerical functions to moderately complex tasks; such as drafting and editing correspondence, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files. Service Assistants deliver results in a timely manner. He/She serves with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of Harvest Christian Fellowship.
Answer phone calls and requests as the first level of IT support. Give information to callers or technicians, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
Manage Help Desk resources for optimal performance. This will consist of resource management for incoming customer inquiries, projects, administrative work and project/vendor management.
Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact the team and overall business objectives.
Monitor trouble call/resolution information; follow-up on and/or report aged calls to ensure timely response.
Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
Prepare or process invoices, reports, memos, letters, and other documents.
Monitor inventory levels and requisition or purchase supplies as directed.
Assist in distribution and analysis of operational, business and financial reporting.
Assist in preparation and administration of departmental budget and business plans and metrics.
Develop and enhance cooperative interdepartmental and vendor relationships and communications.
Provide regular project updates to leaders and other team members.
Create and maintain a training program for increased business, customer service and technical knowledge.
