  • Senior Computer Technician

    Riverside

    Job Summary


    The Senior Computer Technician provides technical assistance, training and/or support in the use of IT hardware and/or software to users.  This position supports organizational needs in the maintenance and operation of an extensive computer system; provides technical support for operating system software, central computer operations, data communications software and distributed processing systems.  The Senior Computer Technician position differs from the Computer Technician in that the senior level has Project Management responsibility from inception to completion, and may supervise Computer Technicians and Help Desk personnel.  He/She serves with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of Harvest Christian Fellowship.

    Essential Functions

    Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution to desktop communication problems and remote system connections.

    Monitor trouble call/resolution information; follow-up on and/or report aged calls to ensure timely response.

    Troubleshoot software and/or equipment errors and coach users in correcting reported problems.

    Inform and train users in equipment/software operation.

    Prepare and maintain technical documentation and procedures.

    Install, configure and test hardware and/or software.

    Carry out security administration by maintaining tables and adding/purging/migrating users.

    Coordinate equipment deliveries, software licensing compliance and inventory/asset control.

    Perform preventative maintenance and repair hardware.

    Analyze and make recommendations on response time, training design, user support needs or customer satisfaction.

    Develop and conduct training in operation and use of hardware and software.

    Consult with users on re-engineering business processes and the use of technology, products and services.

    Prepare reports or proposals for service.

    Research, evaluate and test hardware and software products and systems solutions.

    May also supervise Computer Technicians and Help Desk personnel.

    Provide information to supervisors, staff and outside contacts by telephone, in written form, email and/or in person.

    Keep up-to-date with new technology and equipment.

    Develop constructive / cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.

  • Harvest Security Officer - Part-time

    Harvest's Security Department is hiring for Part-time Security Officer.

    We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced private security professional who also possesses a solid relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord. This individual must possess excellent communication skills a strong work ethic, a humble spirit and a heart to serve our church. A proficiency in weapons manipulation of small arms and non-lethal tactics is required. Military and law enforcement background is highly encouraged but not necessary. Our officers approach the mission of protecting our church and school in a way that puts the gospel first and this new participant will need to contribute to that mission much more like a calling then a job.

    Security Enforcement Officer responsibilities  

    • Analyzing and assessing security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to protect individuals and property associated with Harvest Christian Fellowship and its congregants.
    • Patrol premises to prevent and detect the presence of intrusion and ensure physical security of the campus.
    • Patrol and monitor premises to protect personnel and physical/intellectual property from loss, physical threats, assault, harassment, kidnapping and/or stalking.
    • Conduct screening of individuals and vehicles to prevent passage of prohibited items to minimize threats and disturbances.
    • Perform crowd management during major events.
    • Control entry and exit to and from secured areas, screen authorization identification and authorized equipment.
    • Enforce campus policies, and evict or apprehend violators using force only within guidelines and as necessary; and ensure the proper transfer of custody to the authorities in such instances.
    • Provide personal protection to designated VIP’s and their families to include physical escort
    • Write reports of daily activities and annotate all irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, and/or unusual occurrences.
    • Confer with management to assist in developing, planning and implementing individual and corporate security policies and procedures.

    Position Summary:
    Learn to facilitate integrated communications and maximize Harvest Ministry efforts through MarCom (Marketing Communications); Promotions & Advertising (incl. all forms); Public Relations, Media Relations & Publicity; Broadcasting (Terrestrial & Internet, incl. all forms); Direct Mail, Copywriting & Proofreading.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT: Learn to maintain daily radio schedule of A New Beginning program production; revise schedule for 3-day and 1-day-only messages as needed. Provide updated schedules to the agency for radio program production, and updated info for Call Center operators, Fulfillment, sync with Daily Devotions, plus Web Dept. posting on social media and Radio.Harvest.org.


    • RECORDS MANAGEMENT: Learn to maintain updated online radio station listings, air times, and individual station contact data in ministry databases; church bulletin media updates; archive past and present media-related activities and press coverage.


    • PROJECTS: Learn to prioritize concurrent projects in advertising, promotions, program production, P.R. and media relations. Provide outsourced P.R. firms with materials, content, and direction for crusade and church events, media kits, press releases, online newsroom, and interview arrangements. Manage storage and shipments of message masters, music CDs, and other recordings for video production/duplication and for the agency's ANB radio program production/duplication. Notify radio stations of ANB program tag copy updates weekly or daily, as needed. Research and manage all Harvest broadcast placements.


    • RECORDING: Learn to voice the copy provided for automated phone answering recordings and other audio production V-O projects as needed.


    • ADVERTISING DIRECTION: Learn to manage artwork deadlines, ad budgets, placements, and production for Internet and social media ads, outdoor and print ads, video and radio spots, and promotions. Provide advertising support, copy, and media buying for special church services, crusades, rallies, holidays and other special events.


    • PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT: Learn to delegate selected duties and supervise secretarial assistant(s), oversee productivity of message transcribing and media activities.


    • ACCOUNTING: Learn to analyze broadcast media budgets and each broadcast station's Return-On-Investment figures. Provide Accounting Dept. with Budget Variance Reports; process invoices for payment with instructions on where each debit gets applied. Monitor accounts payable to avoid accruing interest charges. Monitor projected vs. actual monthly and year-to-date media department expenditures.


    • ANNUAL GOALS: Learn to ascertain and pursue annual ministry goals and objectives for media department.


    • OUTREACH: Learn to recommend and coordinate plans for proactive remedies in weak broadcast markets where A New Beginning's Return-On-Investment needs improvement. Ensure maximum monthly acquisition of new names for growing the ROI, constituent database, and mailing lists (digital as well as snail mail).


    • COORDINATE / INTERFACE: Learn to integrate scheduling and order fulfillment for monthly premium offers among all departments, i.e. online postings in Web Dept., radio production by the agency, warehouse and inventory supplies, in-house video production as needed, print and direct mail campaigns. Notify OnePlace.com of monthly premium updates and provide updated Web banners for posting upcoming campaigns on Salem Web Network sites and Harvest.org.


    • LIAISON: Learn to interface with networks, stations, and agencies facilitating ANB international operations, i.e. Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Africa, and Ecuador.

    Job Description

    • Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and compliance to reporting and procedural standards.
    • Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
    • Coordinate and resolve various issues with bank such as cleared check differences, bank fee anomalies, targeted balance calculations and enhancements to online services.
    • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
    • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
