  • Digital Marketing Specialist

    Riverside

    The Marketing Services Department is recruiting for a full time (40 hours per week) Digital Marketing Specialist. 

    The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the successful building, composing, and sending of all communications developed by Harvest and the Marketing Department. The Digital Marketing Specialist is a full-time position that is will remain open until filled.

    REQUIRED Skills and Abilities:

    The Digital Marketing Specialist must be passionate about ministry and driven to further God’s kingdom through technology. Must possess strong computer skills and written communication skills. Must possess high levels of accuracy in typing and data management. Experience working under tight deadlines in challenging situations. Excellent team player especially when working with other departments. Excellent prioritization, organization and time management skills. 

    DESIRED Skills and Abilities:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or similar field is preferred. 2+ years of marketing software (HubSpot or similar system) preferred. Experience in email communications and developing digital campaigns. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a benefit but not required. General knowledge of social media marketing and scheduled postings. Ability to optimize emails for deliverability. General knowledge of SEO, Email, Blogging, and Social media as it pertains to Inbound Marketing is preferred.

  • Children's Ministry Assistant

    Riverside

    The Children's Ministry Department is recruiting for a full time CM Assistant.

    Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Job Summary

    The Children’s Ministry Assistant helps support and coordinate activities for the Children’s Ministry.  This position instructs children in activities designed to promote spiritual growth.  The Children’s Ministry Assistant also performs routine clerical functions to moderately complex tasks; such as drafting and editing correspondence, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, event planning. He/She serves with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of Harvest Christian Fellowship.

    Essential Functions

    • Organize and lead activities designed to promote spiritual, physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music and storytelling.
    • Assist with the scheduling of special events, such as Virtue and Vacation Bible School.
    • Support children's spiritual development, by teaching them about Jesus and caring for others.
    • Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and imaginative play.
    • Assimilate arriving children to the church environment by greeting them and helping them to their class or activity.
    • May communicate with children's parents or guardians about activities, behaviors and related issues.
    • Keep individual records of children’s allergies and medications.
    • Sanitize toys and play equipment, as well as maintain a safe play environment.
    • Perform general office duties, such as monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, maintaining record and performing basic bookkeeping tasks.
    • File and maintain documents, records and reports.
    • Arrange for necessary maintenance or repair work.
    • Duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change at any time.
