Harvest Women's Ministry ::: Special Note

Harvest Online

Hi Ladies,

We just finished our end-of-the-year celebrations for the Women's Bible Fellowships. Whew! The book of Romans has proved to be all and more than we expected.

I was profoundly moved by your testimonies of how God has changed you this year as a result of your faithful study. Foundations of biblical truth have been laid in your lives that will be built on in years to come.

Not only have you benefited, but the lives of our entire church family at Harvest have been enriched too. We are being built up, brick by brick, to the glory of the God and Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

I want to say thanks to all of the women who have worked so hard in serving us. Teachers, coordinators, senior leaders, children's ministry workers, group discussion leaders, worship leaders, greeters, and YOU, the faithful ones who stayed to the very end, I say a heartfelt, THANK YOU!

As for next year, we are already praying that you will return on Thursday morning or evening as we continue the study of the life and ministry of the apostle Paul. Come along with us as we discover his dramatic conversion and the early days of his ministry in Acts. Continue along as we follow his travels through the epistles of Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians. Finally, we will finish up the year reading his words penned from a prison in Rome in his last letter to Timothy.

I know we say this every year, but it really will be our most exciting year yet! It is very possible that by September we will be in our brand-new beautiful facilities, with even more meeting spaces and classrooms for our children. Don't miss out! We are praying for you and hope that we will see you in the fall.

In Christ,
Cathe

Announcements:

WEW

What's next on the Women's Ministry calendar? Well, we have a fantastic opportunity for us all to worship, learn, and fellowship at the next Women Encouraging Women event on Saturday, June 7.

Come early for coffee and fellowship at 8:00 A.M. in the Courtyard, and then join us in the Sanctuary for a dynamic half-day conference entitled Lasting Beauty. We will enjoy worship from our talented Mary Naman and special music from Hillary Watson.

Following our time together, you may select two classes from a number of practical and inspiring seminars taught by women from Harvest. Our morning will conclude with a special message by one of our own pastors' wives, Laurie Wilburn, who will be sharing on "Becoming a Woman of Integrity."

How much does this cost? Nothing! Do we have to sign up in advance? No! We want make it as easy as possible for you to come, so that we can bless you and give you an opportunity to enjoy the day with hundreds of women who love the Lord!

So invite your friends; we have plenty of room for all who wish to come. And FYI, we will be finishing up with the last session by 1:00 P.M., so you can even expect to be home in time to fix dinner!

Mentoring Matters

Be on the lookout for an upcoming invitation to participate in our new mentoring ministry, Mentoring Matters. We hope to launch this new ministry by the end of June!

It will be an eight-week course that follows the Titus 2 principle of mature women teaching younger women how to be good wives and mothers. You will have the opportunity to meet in a small group setting in the homes of some of Harvest's most godly women.

Subjects we will be covering are discipline in devotions, finances, homemaking, marriage, family, and much more. There will be a minimal charge to cover the cost of materials.

Pray about whether the Lord would have you participate in this most important ministry.

You can sign up on June 7 at Women Encouraging Women, and on the church Patio on Sunday, June 8.
