Dear Friend,

Over the years, we have seen more than three million people attend a Harvest Crusades event. Just as importantly, more than 275,000 people have responded to the message of the gospel.

I love to preach the message of Jesus Christ and I love seeing people respond to it, so I am going to do my best to present it in a friendly, sometimes amusing, hopefully poignant, and—most importantly—biblical way that will challenge people to make a decision for Jesus Christ.

Along with my desire to see people "coming forward" at a Harvest Crusade event, I also desire to see them "going forward" in their relationship with Christ. To help people do just that, we give a New Believer's Bible New Testament to each person who comes forward at an event.

Let me tell you a little bit about the New Believer's Bible. It's a project I worked on with Tyndale for more than three years. It includes hundreds of notes that are designed to take a new believer by the hand and share with them, in a friendly, conversational way, the truth of what it means to be a Christian and to grow spiritually. Among the topics are "How to Study the Bible," "How to Resist Temptation," "How to Seek God’s Will," "How to Live as a Disciple," and more.

Because we have seen the New Believer's Bible become such an effective resource for new believers at Harvest Crusades events and my church, Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, we have developed a Bible campaign called Share the Word. Through Share the Word, we want to make the New Believer's Bible New Testament available to you, at no cost, when you contribute financially each year to Harvest Crusades.

What this means is that any time someone makes a profession of faith in one of your church services or outreaches, you can give them a New Believer's Bible New Testament. It's our way of working with you to present the gospel to thousands of people and getting new believers grounded and equipped so that they may stand strong in their new faith in Jesus Christ.

I pray that you will consider this opportunity. Together, we can make a difference in our world for Jesus Christ.
