Memorial for Christopher Laurie, Son of Pastor Greg Laurie, To Be Held this Friday in Riverside
RIVERSIDE, Calif., July 30, 2008—A memorial service will be held for Christopher Laurie, son of Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif., on Friday, August 1, at the family’s home church. Christopher Laurie, 33, died last Thursday in a tragic car accident near Corona, Calif. A resident of Huntington Beach, he served as art director at Harvest Christian Fellowship for the past three years.Pastor Skip Heitzig of Calvary Chapel in Albuquerque, N.M., will conduct the memorial.
Friday’s memorial service will be held at Harvest Christian Fellowship, and will also be broadcast live over the Internet at www.harvest.org. KWVE radio (107.9 FM) will broadcast the service at 11 a.m. PT. In addition, Calvary Chapel of Downey (12808 Woodruff Ave. Downey, Calif. 90242) and Magnolia Avenue Baptist Church (8351 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA 92504) will offer additional venues to watch the memorial service projected in their main sanctuaries.
In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his wife, Brittany, and daughter, Stella, as well as his brother, Jonathan. He and his wife are expecting a daughter in November.
