Harvest with Greg Laurie Announces 2011 Event Schedule
Drawing 4.2 Million to Evangelistic Outreach Events Around the World Since 1990, Harvest with Greg Laurie to Visit Auckland, Anaheim, and L.A. this Summer
RIVERSIDE, Calif., May 11, 2011—Continuing a twenty-two year tradition, Southern California pastor and evangelist Greg Laurie will bring his large-scale Harvest Crusade events back to Orange County, Calif. this summer with a three night outreach at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Aug. 12 – 14. Additional 2011 Harvest with Greg Laurie events will include a visit to Auckland, New Zealand (June 25 – 26) and Harvest's first visit to Los Angeles since 1996 with a one night outreach at Dodger Stadium (Sept. 10).Founded in 1990, The Harvest with Greg Laurie events have drawn more than 4.2 million people to stadiums and arenas around the world to date. In 2010, online crusade attendance surpassed in-person attendance for the first time, doubling the amount of participants at the Harvest Crusade events last year.
The Harvest with Greg Laurie events are known for relating to audiences through contemporary means like top notch music, live Internet webcasts and hosted video podcasts, but the crux of each event is the nightly message presented by Greg Laurie. Called the "evangelist of the future" by Billy Graham, Laurie draws on Scripture, flavored with personal and cultural examples, to describe the relevance of faith in today's world. Laurie's talks encompass topics that appeal to people of any age and answer questions like: Why am I here? Is God real? What happens when I die?

In addition to serving as the founder and evangelist for the Harvest events, Laurie is the senior pastor at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif., one of the largest churches in the U.S. He also serves on the board of directors for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse.
