Weekend Harvest Crusades at Dodger Stadium Draws 61,000, Caps Off Most Significant Year of Outreach in Organization's History
Riverside, Calif., Sept. 13, 2012—Harvest Crusades with Greg Laurie capped off the most significant year in its twenty-three year history when it concluded its final Harvest outreach of the season at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles this past weekend, Sept. 8 – 9. In addition to drawing 61,000 people to Dodger Stadium, the Harvest Crusades also recently drew more than 350,000 participants to its annual outreach at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, both in-person and via live satellite and internet broadcasts carried to 2,400 locations across the U.S.

In an unprecedented event, 306,000 Americans—200,000 in 2,400 host locations across the country and 37,000 in Angel Stadium of Anaheim, plus another 69,000 online participation—joined together on August 26 to hear one man deliver a life-changing message. More than a year of planning and praying came to fruition this past weekend when Harvest Crusades with Greg Laurie successfully undertook their largest evangelistic project to date: to simultaneously take the message of the Gospel presented at Angel Stadium of Anaheim to multiple sites across the U.S. The annual Harvest outreach at Angel Stadium—called the "2012 Anaheim Harvest"—was attended by some 78,000 people over two nights, Aug. 25 - 26, and this year was capped off by a Sunday evening broadcast called Harvest America, which was viewed live by people in 2,416 venues from California to the Carolinas.

Hosted by more than 215 churches, from Riverside to Irvine to Temecula, the Harvest Crusades with Greg Laurie marked its 22nd year of evangelistic outreach in Orange County, Calif. with a three night event, August 12–14. The 2011 Anaheim Harvest drew a diverse crowd of 115,000 people from 34 states and 11 countries, all of whom gathered to listen to top Christian music from artists like Kutless, Jeremy Camp, Francesca Battistelli, Jars of Clay, Red, and Phil Wickham, and to hear the faith stories of Hamilton and Zamperini. But most important was the message of salvation presented by Riverside, Calif. pastor and evangelist Laurie each evening.
