Artist Line-up Announced for Harvest America 2016 at AT&T Stadium
MercyMe, Switchfoot and Chris Tomlin Confirmed for March 6
DALLAS, Oct. 20, 2015 – The musical line-up for Harvest America 2016 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, set for March 6, reads like a top-ten list of today's most popular and award-winning contemporary artists with crossover appeal in both mainstream and Christian genres. Additionally, MercyMe and Chris Tomlin claim Texas roots, increasing their attraction for local audiences.
"While we always seek to have a variety of musical styles among our artists to draw individuals to Harvest America to hear Pastor Greg's message, it's a bonus for us when they embrace and embody our theme of 'One Day, One Church, One Message,'" said Pastor John Collins, executive director of Harvest America. "These guys are amazing musicians, but realize it's all about sharing the message of God's love for a hurting world, and they have committed their considerable talents to be used for that one purpose."
Collins added that crusade organizers were particularly excited to have Chris Tomlin's participation, as he is widely regarded as "America's Worship Leader." "Chris' well-known catalog of worship music will provide a strong foundation from which Greg can declare the message of salvation," Collins said. "Both Switchfoot and MercyMe add a dynamic of energetic, fun, spiritually-focused music that also helps to open the door for people to give a thoughtful hearing of the gospel."Full Release »
