Harvest: Greg Laurie #1

Harvest: Greg Laurie  Number One According to Nielsen Ratings

According to Nielsen ratings released this week, more Southern Californians are tuning in to watch KTLA TV's newly launched program, Harvest: Greg Laurie, than the Fox NFL Sunday Pregame Show. With the capacity to reach over 100,000 viewers, the Harvest: Greg Laurie television program is communicating the message of Jesus Christ to people who may rarely step inside church.

Harvest: Greg Laurie program sheds the traditional perception of "religious" television, presenting the gospel in a relevant manner that speaks to people of all ages, from all walks of life. Laurie relates spiritual matters to current events and addresses issues that are important to everyone, regardless of their religious background.

One viewer of Harvest: Greg Laurie said, "I have watched you from a distance on TV and love your way of reaching people. Unpretentious, plain language, with love for people—the way Jesus reached out. Keep up the great work."

In only its ninth week, Harvest: Greg Laurie is consistently the number one religious program in its Sunday morning time slot. Each Sunday, hundreds of viewers call in seeking spiritual resources or to commit their lives to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Commenting on the program's potential to reach the unchurched, host Greg Laurie (pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif.) says, "My philosophy always has been not to isolate, but to infiltrate. Our TV program allows us to go where the people are and touch their lives with a life-changing message of hope. This show is one more way of carrying out our mission of 'knowing God and making Him known.' "

Harvest: Greg Laurie television program airs throughout Southern California on Sundays at 9:00 A.M. PT on KTLA-TV, Channel 5.
