Harvest Ministries' Radio and Television Programs Nominated for "Programs of the Year" by National Religious Broadcasters (NRB)

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Dec. 13, 2005—Dedicated to the mission of "knowing God, and making Him known," Riverside, Calif.-based Harvest Ministries with Greg Laurie is being recognized for doing just that through its daily radio program, A New Beginning, and its weekly television program, Harvest: Greg Laurie (now called Knowing God with Greg Laurie). Both programs are hosted by pastor and evangelist Greg Laurie, and have been nominated for "Program of the Year" in their respective categories by the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB). The winners will be announced at the NRB convention in Dallas in February.

In 2005, Harvest Ministries received an NRB award for Best Ministry Website (www.harvest.org).

A New Beginning (Nominated for Best Radio Teaching Program)

Opening a window into God's Word, A New Beginning offers listeners, free-of-charge, The New Believers Bible. Through the bible and additional resources, listeners are drawn to the truths of the scripture in innovative and exciting ways.

Harvest: Greg Laurie (Nominated for Best Television Teaching Program)
The trademark of Harvest: Greg Laurie is its contemporary, yet straightforward style and format that features biblical preaching, relevant resources, and exceptional graphics and "man on the street" interviews. During each episode, Greg Laurie shares the Gospel and offers viewers an opportunity to commit to a relationship with Christ. The television program also equips believers with biblical teaching and evangelistic resources to help them fulfill the Great Commission.

Called the "evangelist of the future" by Billy Graham, Greg Laurie serves as senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif., one of the 15 largest churches in the U.S. Laurie is also the founder of Harvest Crusades, evangelistic stadium and arena gatherings that have drawn more than 3.3 million people in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand since 1990.

Laurie, who serves on the board of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, has written more than 30 books, including the Gold Medallion Award-winner The Upside Down Church and his upcoming release, Are These the Last Days? (Regal, Feb. 10, 2006).
