Crusade Follow-Up |

What happens to someone who comes forward at a Harvest Crusade?
At the conclusion of every Harvest Crusade, Pastor Greg Laurie invites the audience to respond to the gospel message by inviting them to come forward to the platform. After a person comes forward and prays the prayer to receive Christ, the following three steps take place:
Step One: They meet with a trained Decision Follow-up Counselor, who will . . .
- Pray with them
- Give them a New Believer's New Testament
- Encourage them to . . .
- Read the Bible daily
- Pray daily
- Get involved in a local church
- Tell someone about their decision to follow Christ
Step Two: The Decision Follow-up Counselor documents the person's decision to follow Christ. The documentation is then given to a local church representative on the night of the crusade.
Step Three: Within 48 hours of the crusade, local churches mail letters and make phone calls to the people they are following up on. To ensure the success of this step, Harvest Crusades utilizes mailings and other resources to encourage the local churches to follow up on all new believers.
