We are still Praising God for all He did through Harvest America.
Think about it: 235,000 attended host venues on Sunday.
37,000 attended at the stadium on Sunday. Total live Sunday attendance: 272,000.
The response to the invitation totaled a little more than 18,000! When you factor in the total crusade attendance (adding Saturday night) it increases to 312,400 for the weekend with 22,000 professions of faith. To God be the glory indeed!
But now we come to Dodger Stadium.
This is no small task as this is LA, one of the most influential cities in the world, much less the United States.
Last year, the LA Harvest was prayed for around the clock. We need to pray fervently for this year as we extended this event to two nights. This has been a huge step of faith on our part.
Last year for our one-night event, we had 50,000 come and over 5,000 professions of faith. As you may recall, the Fire Marshall closed the gates to the field and another 1000 people could not get on the field!
But this is another day and we cannot rest on our laurels. I am reminded of the story from the book of Joshua of when the children of Israel went to attack the city of Ai. Flush with victory after Jericho, they assumed this much smaller city would fall easily. Much to their shock, they faced a humbling defeat!
They should have been praying instead of assuming!
We need to have this same attitude as we hold our crusade in Los Angeles. So, would you commit yourself to praying for this event with me?
