Greater Things for the Kingdom

Chicago’s New Life Covenant Church has a reach that extends Christ’s love expressly to the under-resourced, single-parented, and disadvantaged in their community—and this vibrant church brought over 4000 attenders to the Saturday event alone. Tonight’s group included 12-year-old Jasmin, one of the many youth this congregation bused to the crusade each night.

Moments after this final evening came to a close, New Life’s Senior Pastor, Wilfred De Jesus, lauded the combined effort involved in bringing this crusade to be. His hope is that, going forward, the 200+ churches would “not stay fragmented, but would look to the future to do greater things for the kingdom.”

His parting words echoed the thoughts of many: “Praise God for Greg Laurie and the Harvest Crusade. This would never have happened without them.”
