Before Jeff Campbell became a Christian several decades ago, he had been a drug user. After accepting Christ, Jeff became a gifted teacher, serving on his church board, and sharing the Good News on the street or wherever he could. Jeff and his wife had fertility problems and because of this he was given a prescription to take to help with the problem. The drug had the effect of speed on Jeff and he went off the deep end, returning to speed. In a matter time, he divorced his wife, became unemployed, and lost his home.
Jeff was approached by the police and arrested for outstanding warrants. It was while in lock-up that Jeff recommitted his life to the Lord. By God’s grace, Jeff was released early from jail and entered and completed training in drug and alcohol counseling. Today Jeff is one of those counselors.
Last month, at the Anaheim Harvest, Jeff brought 28 of his clients to the crusade and ten of them went forward at the invitation to commit their lives to Christ.
Jeff will attest to the faithfulness and patience of God in his own life and that, indeed, God is the God of second (and third…) chances!
Please pray with us that many, like Jeff, will surrender their lives back to Christ at tonight’s Los Angeles Harvest, receiving a new start, to the glory of God!
