G3 (Ages 16-26)
What is G3?
The G3 program is a training program in one-on-one personal evangelism, focused on meeting those in our communities who are lonely, hurting, and lost; who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and who may not even know who He is and what He has done for us.
G3 stands for Gideon's 300, straight out of Judges 7:7. Like the 300 faithful soldiers God raised up in Gideon's army, G3 seeks to find the faithful high school and college-aged people of Chicago and train them up to reach out into their community with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. The G3 program focuses on how to:
- Meet people and spark a conversation
- Genuinely listen to an individual
- Build a bridge with individuals
- Share Christ and His Love with individuals
- Invite people out to the Greg Laurie: Chicago Harvest

Select the youth who should be a part of this program, making sure they will be available for the session you have selected. Something to take note of: This program is not suited for everyone. Ideally, it is for two types of youth:
- Those who are already out sharing with others about Jesus Christ, and would like to learn about other practical ways to do so
- Those who know they should be out telling others about Christ, but are too scared to do it
A session lasts for two hours and 30 mintues. We will meet for a time of prayer and instruction, and then we will hit the streets. Do not procrastinate. As you can see above, each training session is for a limited number of youth, as it is hands-on and in person. We're putting feet to our faith and getting out there and sharing the gospel!
Contact Scot Camden, Greg Laurie Chicago Harvest Youth Director, to sign up and confirm the session:
If you are between the ages of 16 and 26 and you are interested in participating in the G3 Training opportunity, here is how you can get involved:
Ask your youth/college/young adults pastor if they have heard about the upcoming Greg Laurie: Chicago Harvest. If they say yes, confirm that they will be participating in the G3 Training Opportunity and let them know you want to be a part of it.
If your pastor has not heard about the Greg Laurie: Chicago Harvest or the G3 Training opportunity, direct them to chicago.harvest.org and also ask them to contact Scot Camden at (951) 543-2657. I would really like to speak with them about how they and you can be involved.
If you have talked with your high school-age son or daughter about G3 Training, and they want to participate in it, here is how you can help:
Talk to your youth pastor and ask if they have heard about the Greg Laurie: Chicago Harvest, and if they will be participating in the G3 Training.
If they are going to participate, that's great!
If they have no idea what you're talking about, I encourage you to direct them to our event site at chicago.harvest.org.
I would also love to speak with them about G3, the Greg Laurie: Chicago Harvest, and how they can get involved. You can reach me at ScotC@harvest.org, or by phone at (951) 543-2657.

"This resource offers a logical progression to starting and carrying on the conversation about Jesus. Too often we have our conversations steer around Jesus but never make it to Him. This book shows you a method of cutting to the chase as well as gives you the tools to be a more effective soul winner! This resource tackles big issues and answers big questions with convincing statistics in the new expanded "Defend" section, a huge plus!
