Shine.FM (89.7 FM) exists to share the love of Christ through music. Statistically, as many as 20% of people who listen to Christian music radio would not describe themselves as having a “relationship with Christ.” While our focus is ministry through music, here at Shine.FM we’re always working to get the message of Christ out through community events, service to the listening area and partnership with other ministries.
A lot of people just won’t walk into a “Sunday environment,” but this outreach, held in a sports and concert venue and featuring crossover artists like Skillet and Kirk Franklin, may prove to be a more inviting place to investigate faith. We’re thrilled to help get the word out so that Christians can pray for this outreach and invite someone who doesn’t have a relationship with Jesus.

~* ~* Matthew 9:37&38 ~~
37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 “Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” – (NASB)
~* ~* Acts 1:8 ~~
“… 8 but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” – (NASB)
~* ~* Romans 1:16&17 ~~
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.” – (NASB)
~* ~* I Corinthians 3:4-9 ~~
August 5, 2010 at 6:20 PM4 For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. 7 So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. – (NASB)
