6:00 p.m. - The pre-crusade concert should be beginning in a little while with the 1000 voice Kids' Choir.

6:10 p.m. - A few of the kids from the Kids' Praise Club are being interviewed live for the internet broadcast right now. The kids are describing the colorful stage for those listening and watching on the internet. The stage has very large boxes with colorful faces on them.

6:20 p.m. - The attendance for last night's 4th of July and opening night of the 2001 Harvest Crusade was 35,000 people. 2,300 people registered decisions for Christ last night, here at Edison Field.

6:25 p.m. - The Kids' Praise Club kids are entering the stage now in preparation for the pre-crusade concert.



6:40 p.m. - Pastor Ricky Ryan welcomes Cathy Spurr and The Kids' Praise Club. There are about 25 kids in colorful shirts singing "Rock the World." Next they sing "Oo La La, I've Got A Friend in Jesus." Next they sing "I Want the Attitude of Jesus." The entire choir in the stands also stand and sing and clap along as Cathy Spurr leads. Next Cathy plays her guitar and leads as the children on stage sing "Somebody's Knocking on the Door of My Heart. Next the kids on stage along with the kids' choir in the stands sing "I Want to Be One of His Kids."They follow with "Jesus, Rock of Rocks." Their final song is "Make a Joyful Noise." Several white doves were just let out of boxes just in front of the stage.

Ricky Ryan welcomes Brandon from Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside to open in prayer.

7:05 p.m. - Deano and the Dynamos open with "Attitude of Gratitude." The Kids' Choir join in singing, and clapping along. Deano says to the audience, "If you've got time to read your e-mail, then you have time to read your "G-Mail!" This next song is called "G-Mail." They follow with "Soul Sufin'." Their next song is "Come to the Well." Lyrics say "Come to the well where the water swells to a spring of cool salvation, and you'll never thirst again!"

7:20 p.m. - Bob Shank, Treaurer of Harvest Crusades Board of Directors, comes to the platform to talk to the parents of the kids here to share with them about the offering. As tonight's offering is taken, a video is shown on the Jumbotron screen here at Edison Field.

7:30 p.m. - Ricky Ryan shares about some of the products available tonight.

7:30 p.m. - Psalty, the Singing Songbook comes on stage and sings along with several kids on stage, "Follow the Leader." Psalty has everyone stand and say "I will not be a looky-loo, but I will be a doer-do!" He has everyone in the crowd join in singing "Touch your hands up to the sky and say to the Lord I love you!!

Many beach balls (hundreds of them) are dropped from the higher levels here at Edison Field and the kids in the crowd are tossing them back and forth, and as they are throwing the balls around, Psalty and the kids sing "I've Got that Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy Down in My Heart." Following that, he has the kids throw all of the balls down on the field and they are taken out of sight.

Psalty gets a phone on stage from Colby the Computer. But the problem is, Colby was stuck in a purple box and the kids on stage had to help him out of the box. Colby leads the kids in "When I Sing the Words of Music, They Become a Part of Us. Colby has the kids on stage marching and singing "Sound Off, Jesus!" Lyrics are "I don't care what my friends say, I'm going to praise him, anyway!!"

Nanny Bird is now on stage and leads the kids in singing "My All and All." Nanny Bird next has the kids join her in doing the "Praise the Lord Together" to the tune of "Hokey Pokey."

Nanny Bird and Colby Computer leave the stage. Next everal of the "Jungle Jam and Friends" characters come out of the big yellow box on stage. Psalty gives big letters spelling BIBLE to the characters on stage and sings "The B I B L E, That's the Book For Me" as the characters on stage mix up the letters. Next the characters and kids on stage sing "God Has a Plan for My Life." The bear character sings a song on stage called "Bear Hug" and gives the kids and characters each a big bear hug.

Charity Church Mouse leads the kids on stage and the choir in singing "Draw Me Nearer." The kids on stage are dancing as they sing the song. Psalty says goodbye to Charity Church Mouse and the Church Mouse Choir. One of the characters from the yellow box on stage sings "This Little Light it Shine" joined by the characters from the green box and purple boxes on stage. Psalty then has the kids on stage, along with the kids' choir in the audience and the entire crowd sing along. Several "little candle lights" in costume come up onto the stage to join in singing this song. Quite a big production with everyone on stage. Psalty says that everyone here has helped him to get his memory back! (He had said that he had lost his memory when he first came out on stage).



8:25 p.m. - Psalty shares how God took all of our sins away and took the punishment for all of our sins. He says that Jesus wants to be our friend and to take all our sins away. Psalty prays, "Lord, reach out to us and touch our hearts." He asks everyone here to raise their hands if they would like Jesus to come into their hearts. Psalty also talks to the parents and explains how they need to also have a relationship with Christ and he also gives the adults a chance to accept Christ hee tonight too. He asks those who just raised their hands to accept Christ to just stand up right where they are. Many are standing all over the stadium right now, children and adults alike. Psaly now leads those standing in prayer, "Dear Jesus, come into my heart. Be may savior and Lord and forever friend. Please forgive me for all the bad things I have ever done or ever will do. Give me power, dynamite power to be bold and to be a Christian and give me love for my parents, my teachers, my friends and even my enemies! Amen!"

8:40 p.m. - Many are walking over to the counseling areas, where a counselor will talk with them and give them each a "New Believer's Growth Book" and some other materials. As the people are going to these areas, Psalty is leaving the crowd in "Jesus Loves Me."

Ricky Ryan comes back to the stage and again encourages the parents who prayed to receive Christ, to also go to the counseling areas and receive a Bible.
