Even the pastors on stage are moving their arms to the beat. The following song is "In the Vibe." The audience is really enjoying this group. The Katinas are so full of energy! Their next song is "Thank You, Lord." On-line counselors are available if you have a question or an issue you would like to ask someone about. You can just push the "Interactive" button.

8:30 p.m. - Pastor Greg's message title tonight will be "What is Salvation?" Pastor Greg asks "What does it mean to be saved? What do these words really mean that are used so often? Pastor Greg says that he feels there are a lot of people who think they are saved, but are not. He talks about how God gives second chances, and third ones and fourth ones, and so on. We all have done things where we wish we could turn the clock back.

Pastor Greg shares how recently a man won a $46 Million dollar lottery. He says that God has something so much better for us, called SALVATION! He shares how almost all of us have had someone come up to us at some point in life and ask "Are you saved?" He says that after all, beffore coming to Jesus you weren'tin a burning house or lost at sea. You were just living life one day at a time. Greg says that in reality, the term "saved" is a very apt desscription of what happens to a person who puts their faith in Jesus Christ. For our real situation is actually worse than being in a burning house or a stormy sea. Before coming to Christ, we were separated from God and on your way to a certain judgment in a very real place called hell.

He shares about justification in Romans 5:1-2 about being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,....

Pastor Greg talks about how a lot of people say that they are worthless, that their lives mean nothing and they have nothing to offer, etc., saying that they have low self esteem. Pastor Greg says that he suggests that you actually LOVE yourself. Pastor Greg shares a story of a man named Bob who was at a garage sale looking for some good deals when in the back, he spied something underneath a table cloth and old comforter. It was a motorcycle. Not only that, it was a HARLEY! He asked the man running the sale, "Is that bike for sale?" The old man shrugged and said, "I don't see why not. My wife says it's gotta go. But I've gotta warn you, that bike hasn't run since I've had it." Bob said "How much do you want for it?" The old man said, "I'm sure they'd give me $35.00 for the metal at a scrap yard." Bob agreed and said he would pick it up the next day. So bob got it and took it home and it was just collecting dust. Bob decided to call the local Harley dealer to see what a few major parts would run. The Harley guy asked for the serial number of the bike, which Bob gave him. After a long time on hold, the Harley guy sounded different and said, "Sir, could I get your name and address and phone number please, and I'll call you right back." Bob thought this seemed strange, but he agreed. After a few minutes Bob started to worry. "What if this bike is stolen, or was used in a crime or belongs to a Hell's Angel or something? A couple of days went by when the phone rang. It was an executive with Harley Davidson, not the guy Bob spoke to originally. He said, "Listen Bob, I want you to do something for me. Would you set the receiver down- don't hang up, and take the seat off your bike and see if anything is written underneath." Bob felt like he was talking to an air traffic controller as he brought in a 747. Bob unbolted the seat and picked the phone back up. He said, "Yeah, it's engraved and it says 'The King.'" The Harley executive said "Bob, my boss has authorized me to offer you $300,000 payable immediately for this bike. Do we have a deal?" Bob was stunned and said, "I'll get back to you!" The next day Bob got a call fro Jay Leno! He said, "He had aheard a thing about Harleys" and offered Bob $500,000! "THE KING" was ELvis Presley. The serial number made that clear. The bike Bob had bought for $35.00 had once been owned by "The Kign of Rock 'n Roll." It was worth half a million, at least! The value of the motorcycle was not in the metal or the parts, it didn't even run! The value had nothing to do with the bike's beauty, what it was made of or how it performed. The value was all tied to the fact that it had been owned by "The King," Elvis. In the same way, God has "Justified me."

Pastor Greg shares that knowing I'm justified, at peace with God, having free access into His presence and the hope of Glory is more than oen could ever hope for...BUT he says, there's more!! He shares how not only are you justified, but you are also adopted into His family!! He shares how Jesus stands at the door and knocks. He shares how Jesus wants intimacy with you, not some distant relationship. He says that God wants to have this relationship with you right now! Many may have never had an earthly Father, but the Lord will be the "Father in Heaven" to take the place of the "Father on earth" you never had.

Pastor Greg asks "Are you saved? Are you sure? Do you want to be sure tonight? Your eternal destiny is riding on it. Would you like to call up Him tonight? The Bible says, "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved."

Pastor Greg prays for the people here and asks that if they'd like to receive Christ tonight and to make sure of their eternal destiny, to get out of their seats and come down to the field to make a profession of faith.

Many are coming down to the field as Crystal Lewis sings "Come Just as You Are." Following that, The Harvest Crusade Band sings "Today is the Day." Many continue to come.

Pastor Greg prays with those who have come down to the field tonight, "God, I am sorry for my sins, but I thank you for sending Jesus, the Son of God to die on that cross and to forgive me for all the sins I have ever committed. Adopt me into your family. Be my heavenly father. Help me to change and to live the Christian life. Thank you for saving me and for loving me. In Jesus' name, AMEN!
