Wollongong
is located in the South coast region of the state
of New South Wales. The South Coast covers the narrow
coastal belt from Sydney in the north to the border
with Victoria in the south and west to the Great
Dividing There are national parklands in the west
and a series of small towns and villages dotting
the often rugged coastline. Rich rolling farmlands
and dairy country, sections of rainforest, historic
houses, natural harbours, fishing fleets, whale
watching, seal and penguin colonies.
Wollongong
is best known as an industrial city but boasting
excellent beaches, outstanding collection of contemporary
Australian art. Spectacular lookout at Bulli Pass
with walking tracks and lookouts in the mountains
behind the city. Fitzroy Falls in the Mountain National
Park .
