Daniel Eichelberger Associate Pastor
When I was 17 years old, my mother gave me a Bible. Opening that book changed my life. It taught me who I am and who I am not, who God is, and what He has done throughout salvation history. Most importantly, reading the Scriptures taught me what God's Son, Jesus Christ, accomplished on the cross: He conquered sin and death and reconciled humankind to the Father.
Through the discipleship of my good friend Toby Hoffman, I began serving at Harvest, beginning with the High School Ministry, then the Junior High Ministry, and finally the Married Couples Ministry. From the time I began serving at age 18, I immediately felt God's calling on my life to pastor His people.
In 2001, God used two major events in my life to impact my ministry. I began seminary at Azusa Pacific University, and I met my future wife, Melissa. APU provided me with the necessary tools to minister God's Word to His people. My wife became the love of my life and a life-long partner to come alongside me, to help refine me, and to join me in ministering the truth of Jesus Christ to others.
God continued to confirm His calling upon my life when, in October of 2006, I was invited to serve as an associate pastor at Harvest. There's nothing I enjoy more than serving with my wife, teaching God's Word, counseling, and building spiritual community here at Harvest. To God be the glory!
