I was raised in a middle class family, with loving parents. Life was very good and full of hope until tragedy struck. My mom died when I was 12. This sent our family into a tail spin. It was a hard adjustment for all of us. A few years after her death, trying to find my way, I fell into drug and alcohol abuse. This only made matters worse. When I was 22 I wanted a fresh start so I moved to California and met my wife to be. Sharon brought me to Harvest one Sunday and we both went forward to receive Christ at an invitation given by Pastor Greg. Shortly thereafter we married. Sharon and I have been going to Harvest since that time, raising our children in this church, without a moment of regret. We started serving in the Children's Ministry here, eventually that led to me serving as a deacon, then an Elder, and since 1996 I have served here as a pastor. It is our hope that if anyone reads this testimony and is struggling with sin, Jesus is the way, He is the truth, and He is life! Give your heart to Him and serve Him, you won't regret it!
"Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
