I was under heavy conviction from the Holy Spirit. Finally, I realized that I was resisting the One who loved me and died for me. So I walked into our bedroom, got down on my knees next to the bed, and asked Jesus Christ to save me from my sins. The next Sunday evening, Lorraine and I went to Calvary Chapel of Riverside (Harvest), and Lorraine went forward at Pastor Greg's invitation. The coworker who shared the gospel with me was Mike Brazeal, who is also now a pastor on staff at Harvest. "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
