My path to Christ chronicles that of many in my "baby boom" generation. Having been raised in a religious home and confirmed in a Protestant church, I had knowledge of Christ but never transferred that knowledge into a personal relationship and trust in Jesus as both my Lord and Savior. After a time of typical teenage exploration and "fooling around" I soon began to realize that God was something much more than a Sunday excercise. I began a spiritual quest for truth in 1975 as I pursued a degree in communications from Cal State Fullerton. My search took me to the Scriptures and several meetings where the simple gospel was presented. Before long, I came to the realization that being born into a family that went to church was not the same as being "born-again"; and so I made a commitment to follow Christ in 1976. I married my high school sweetheart, Cindy, that same year and was baptized in 1977. Since that time I have sought to make Christ my passion and pursuit and Harvest Christian Fellowship my place of worship.
