The Well: College and Career Ministry
The Well at Harvest is for college students and everyone who is 18–28 years old. We meet in the Fellowship Hall at 7:30
P.M. on Fridays.
The Well is a place where you can be refreshed in your relationship with Jesus Christ. We spend some time in worship, and then spend some time getting watered with God's Word. Then we hang out for a bit, and snack a little too.
In addition to our Friday night meetings, we also have monthly opportunities to serve others through missions, and chances to volunteer with Harvest Crusades, along with beach bonfires and other activities where we can fellowship and get to know each other better.
Join us and get refreshed at The Well!
But the water that I shall give him will become in him a
fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.
—John 4:14 NKJV

Mission Opportunities
Here's your chance to make a difference! The second weekend of each month, we have a team that goes to Mexico to minister the love of Jesus in tangible ways.
Missions Report:
New Orleans, January 24 – February 3
A group of 15 traveled to New Orleans (Harvest's 10th group to the Hurricane Katrina devastated Gulf Coast, and the Missions' group 6th trip). Here are a few comments from team members:
This trip was a little unique for me because I got to see three different pastors from three different churches that we all had a part in fixing. It was nice to see everything coming together for the city as a whole. Now there are three separate neighborhoods that get to have services again. I guess the best part is getting to see the consistency of our efforts starting to produce wider results.

Here is what I liked about this trip and why I went on it. In random order: presenting the Christian Church/Christianity/Christians to the world in a positive light, listening to the perfect pitch and rhythm of the singing congregation at the black churches, and eating new foods that I never come across here at home. I enjoy a change of pace, being out of the office away from the computer screen, doing things with my hands, learning the trades involved in construction, completing a project, accomplishing a goal, hanging out with the group, playing Spades, Hearts, or Rummy after a long day of work, having people around, hearing different perspectives on things, breathing fresh air, helping people out who are legitimately in need.

I went on this trip hoping to be a servant of the Lord and in some way be a blessing. What ended up happening was this newly reborn believer being blessed and transformed. Pastor Rick taught me a palpable lesson about forgiveness and mercy, he made real to me how freely forgiveness should flow from me to others. I never knew what having the Holy Spirit in me meant and Joy Larson revealed to me a moment when the Holy Spirit worked in my life. These are just 2 specific moments but the entire trip I was being convicted and also transformed. Harvest saved my life in driving me to be born again and this mission trip has enriched my life and provided understanding to a believer's walk. I have selfishly taken so much from the New Orleans mission and am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to serve next to 14 lovely souls.

Mexico, February 9 & 10
A group of approximately 40 Missions Ministry volunteers traveled to La Mission, Mexico (between Tijuana and Ensenada), to Puerta de Fe (Door of Faith) Orphanage (there are 100-120 orphans living there). During that weekend at Door of Faith, the group accomplished the following activities:
- Puppet Show for the children in Spanish illustrated the love of God and the salvation message
- Face painting for the children
- Two large inflatable "bouncers" for the children to jump in
- We painted the complete exterior walls and fencing of one of the children's dorms, painted two other interior dorm rooms as well as completed some light maintenance/electrical work in the dorm
- Delivered food and supplies to the orphanage
- Purchased, prepared and served a lasagna dinner for approximately 200+ people
- Played with the children in the large playground area
- Witnessed to individual orphans about God’s love for them
- Made a financial donation to the orphanage
The Missions trip to Door of Faith was very successful and all were blessed beyond words for the experience there. Harvest Missions volunteers shared many wonderful blessings and experiences around the campfire Sunday morning as we held our own Bible study and worship time before leaving for home. For many, it was their first missions trip to an orphanage. Overwhelmingly, they expressed that they want to go back. This trip ignited a love for God's kids (orphans). It was an honor and a privilege to be used by God, doing exactly what He has Biblically commanded us to do — take care of orphans!
