A Beginner’s Course in American Sign Language

The Deaf Ministry is offering a beginner’s course in American Sign Language for anyone who is interested in learning.

It will be held on Tuesdays, from February 11 to April 15 (6:00-7:30 P.M.) in the Volunteer Center.

Curriculum will be taught by ASL interpreters that are actively involved in the Harvest Deaf Ministry. Students will learn to communicate in ASL for ministerial and everyday purposes. There will be an emphasis on Deaf ministry and Deaf culture.

The class is free, but purchase of the textbook Signing Illustrated (Revised Edition) is required. The textbook will be available for purchase through the class (approximately $15).
