Smashball at Harvest Woodcrest

Hot dogs, nachos, a baseball diamond, an oversized ball, and a ton of fun. A couple hundred Woodcrest church members gathered after church to enjoy community with food, fellowship, and a game of Smashball. The adults and children alike enjoyed smashing the ball and running the bases in the opposite direction, an interesting twist to the traditional game of baseball.

This has been one of many events that the Woodcrest campus hosts in order to build community within the church. Pastor Josh Thompson has more events like this planned for the future. He is constantly and diligently emphasizing the importance of community as it relates to the Christian walk and it’s encouraging to see his vision for the campus take shape.

Thanks Pastor Josh for a fun-filled day with our church family.
