Are You Praying for the Harvest Crusades?

One of the clear marks of a Christian is that they pray . . . a lot!

Are you known as a person of prayer? The Bible tells us that we are to be “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18).

We use the word pray often. It is a pretty general term used for all kinds of prayer: supplication, adoration, thanksgiving, intercession, confession, praise, and more. But know this: you can pray publically and privately, verbally and silently. You can be kneeling, standing, sitting, lying down, or even driving. You can pray with your eyes open or closed!

Surely God will hear your prayer wherever you are. The main thing is that you are “praying always.”

The Harvest America Around-the-Clock Prayer Campaign is one way that we, as a church, can “pray without ceasing” for Harvest America, as well as the Anaheim and Los Angeles crusades.

I invite you to participate in this 24/7 prayer effort by signing up to pray during one of the time slots on the calendar. As we get closer and closer to the crusades, the need for prayer becomes more and more pressing, and I encourage you to pray “with all prayer” for the work God will do through these outreaches.

I also invite you participate in the Evening of Worship and Prayer this Sunday, August 19, at 5:00 P.M. at Harvest Riverside and Orange County.

And it’s not too late to get daily prayer reminder e-mails leading up to the event and beyond.
