Focusing on the Resurrection

This week is called “Passion Week” in which we follow Jesus on His road to the Resurrection.

In addition to the miracle of His virgin birth in Bethlehem, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the most important events in history.

Because of Christ’s crucifixion, God and man are reconciled—and we are granted access to eternal life in the presence of God and the angels. It was at the cross of Calvary our salvation was purchased.

But the Son of God did not stay in the tomb. On the third day, He rose again. He surprised the skeptics, and even His closest followers, when He appeared to them in person.

As believers, we too have the hope of resurrection. Christ is the firstfruits of those who have risen from the dead, and when we die, we also will rise to new life in heaven—and we will be reunited with loved ones who have gone before us.

So join us at Harvest Riverside or the just-opened Harvest Orange County campus as we celebrate Easter week.
